Bell times
Our school day is structured around a clear timetable. We have set times for learning sessions, activities and lunch. Understanding the bell times helps students get the most out of each part of the day.
It's important for students to arrive on time each day. If your child is running late, please contact our front office.
Our bell times
Our school bell times are:
The following are the Singleton PS Emergency Procedures:-
Evacuation:
The sounding of a siren followed by an automated announcement “this is an evacuation, this is an evacuation” will signal an emergency evacuation. Staff, students and visitors are to make their way to the muster area.
Lockdown:
The sounding of a siren followed by an automated announcement “this is a lock down, this is a lock down” will signal a lock down. Staff, students and visitors are to implement lock down procedures in their current location.
Supervision
There is no supervision available for students before 8.40 am and after 3.10 pm. Students who arrive on an early bus will need to head to the I Block or library stairs until the 8.40 am bell rings.
Collection points
If you are collecting your child from school in the afternoon you do not have to sign in. You will need to arrange to meet at one of two places:
- On the seats at the Aboriginal Bush Tucker Garden near the “Enter to Learn” gates in Hunter Street;
- Next to “The Parsonage” (school office) near the vegie garden and sandpit.
Entry to school will be via the Parsonage gate.
