Year Five have been invited to attend the Burn Bright Leadership Program. The aim of the day is to introduce Year Five students to leadership prior to entering Year Six, where they are often required to conduct leadership activities as the senior students in their school. The day will be conducted by personnel from Burn Bright, a not-for-profit organisation, which specialises in presenting wellbeing and leadership to young people. Where There’s a Will personnel and Singleton Council Youth Workers will be in attendance to support the program. Representatives from Hunter Valley Operations will attend throughout the day. It is thanks to Hunter Valley Operations that Where There’s a Will is able to offer a fantastic day of leadership training.
